So BIG, HUGE, AMAZING news!! In September 2011 we bought a house!!
We are now proud official home owners! (see below our cute home!)
This was just in September when we first bought it! When we first got the place, the first thing to happen was paint! My amazing Mother in law and Sister in law joined in and helped us out! I dont know what the previous owners were thinking when they chose their color scheme...which was basically pale yellow and darker than dark brown! Made this house look so tiny! We finished the painting and have found most of the places where things should be! The only thing I am fighting with now is the walls! I have so MUCH wall space I dont know what to do with it! In apartments, there wasnt as much and now I have a TON! So any ideas please comment! I really want to make a lot of things since we are tight on budget with house payments. So if you have any ideas....SPILL! :) We just placed a driveway in as well so we arent in a muddy pit! I think we cleaned the carpets so many times before we go that in! I also found a love for appliances! Having a dishwasher is so so nice! I want to give a big shout out to my father in law and husband for being just amazing with all the technical and mechanical things around here! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Mike and I have been going crazy busy with school and work. Mike is coming up on the end of his publication! This will make school go so much faster! I am currently not going to school. I felt it was placing a strain on my work relationship with my boss and was causing problems. I will hopefully pick this back up this summer.
We have been battling being the newbies in our ward again. Just as last time though we were immediately placed in a calling. This time we are teaching ALL Girls! They are the fresh out of primary "I am a BEEHIVE!" stage! These girls we at least teach in the second hour of church so we can finally attend Relief Society and Priesthood classes. Even though we started going to our ward in September, we are still asked constantly if we are new and where we live. haha. Maybe someday I will get to start asking these questions? haha
Well, it is super late and luckily we get the non-changing time of 9:00 AM church! So off to bed for us!
Lets hope now I can keep up with this thing (I ain't making any promises though!).
